Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, with some flexibility required

Project Description
The role forms part of the Swansea SPF Employability Anchor – Pathways to Work and is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The Service Innovation & Enhancement Team deliver learning and development programmes, which create employment opportunities for service users. The Project will provide wellbeing and employability support to individuals in the Swansea area who have experience homelessness, the criminal justice system and provide gender specific support for women. You will be responsible for providing holistic support to individuals to help them achieve their Education, Training & Employment goals, adopting a trauma informed approach to engage service users both in custody and the community.
Purpose of Role
The post holder will be responsible for managing a caseload of service users, men and women, providing one to one mentoring and holistic support. As part of this role they will be expected to design and deliver a series of interventions with the aim to improve the resilience, wellbeing and employability of those individuals being supported. This will be achieved by providing access to counselling, further learning and training, and creating opportunities to obtain work-based qualifications.
The post holder will support the team to deliver a prison-based learning programme of pre-employment soft skills and provide transitional support for prison leavers resettling into the community. The post holder will be expected to work alongside members of staff from HMPPS, corporate employer partners and wider stakeholders.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
