Project Description

This service is designed so that private sector landlords or agents acting on their behalf have access to a service where they can refer their tenants for support. This service will support the preventative objectives of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 and Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014. The aim is to provide early intervention before the risk of homelessness at 56 days as set out in the Housing (Wales) Act 2014. The service will intervene to prevent a need for statutory intervention by the Housing department. The project is funded through the Supporting People Programme Grant and is required to meet the Welsh Government’s National Outcomes Framework. The Framework’s four main aims are:

- Promoting Personal and Community Safety

- Promoting Independence and Control

- Promoting Economic Progress and Financial Control

- Promoting Health and Wellbeing
