Project Description

The Conwy Rapid Rehousing service is a pilot project until March 2026.  The role of the service is to co-ordinate the support to clients residing in B&B’s within the County, working closely with Tenancy Support Officers, Housing Officers, B&B staff and the Pathway officer. The RR Workers (RRW) are not required to offer direct support to clients in the traditional sense but rather ensure that all colleagues involved in their housing and support are kept up to date and that clients' needs are being met.  Some brief interventions will be expected.

The Service Manager will manage the service and the team of RRW's.

The role of the service manager will require regular on-site support to the RRW’s and assisting with the work of the RRW’s when required.

Purpose of Role

To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Services which fall under the responsibility of this role, ensuring objectives and targets are met in line with contract requirement and organisational values, working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders where required. To ensure that staff and service users have the best possible support in place, allowing for the service to achieve its main aims and objectives.

Please contact Ceri Thomas if you have any queries for an informal discussion on the role.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
