Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week working a rota, mostly Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 with 1 evening shift per week 11:30 - 19:30 and 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Purpose of Role
The Rapid Rehousing Worker will be responsible for coordinating a caseload of service users currently residing in bed and breakfast accommodation, working with partners to support service users to move on from temporary accommodation and into more sustainable accommodation.
The primary role of the Rapid Rehousing Worker will be to build relationships with partners, including bed and breakfast owners, local authority and third sector housing and homelessness teams, and encouraging service users to engage with the support systems that are already in place to address a person’s housing need.
The Rapid Rehousing Worker will provide a flexible person centred, solution focused service, applying an assertive engagement and positive risk-taking approach, with a view to rapidly addressing a person’s housing need.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role
